FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup · Poland 2026
Canada held defending champions Korea DPR scoreless through 90 minutes before conceding twice in stoppage time in a 2–0 quarterfinal defeat on 20 September. Canada finished the tournament with two wins, one draw and two losses.
FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup · Morocco 2026
Canada qualified by topping its final-round Concacaf group. The group stage brings three very different tests in October: Brazil, Norway and Ghana.
FIFA U-20 World Cup · Azerbaijan & Uzbekistan 2027
A 3–1 extra-time win over Jamaica secured Canada’s first men’s U-20 World Cup appearance since 2007. Liam Mackenzie scored twice and Max Vogele sealed the quarterfinal victory.
UEFA Friendship Cup · Nyon 2026
Canada Soccer named 22 players for the UEFA Friendship Cup in Switzerland. Canada face Brazil on 24 September, Côte d’Ivoire on 27 September and Spain on 30 September, followed by a placement match on 3 October. Every match will stream free on UEFA YouTube and UEFA.tv; kickoff times have not yet been published by Canada Soccer.

Community clubs, licensed youth clubs and professional academies provide the weekly development environment.
Standards-based provincial leagues feed the national U-15 and U-17 Player-Development Program Championship.
Early international camps introduce players to national-team standards and prepare each new U-17 cycle.
Concacaf qualifying and FIFA tournaments become the bridge toward professional and senior international football.
