Canada earned its first win of the FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival with a 6–0 result against Singapore.

First win, first clean sheet

Canada Soccer’s official timeline shows Aryan Parmar opening the scoring in the fourth minute, Hayden Renardson adding the second at five, Shawn Couto scoring at 10, David Egizii at 19, Michael Pittarelli at 28 and Rowen Egharevba at 38. Canada built a 3–0 lead in the first ten minutes and added three more without conceding.

The result followed a 2–1 opening loss to Guinea-Bissau and a 1–1 draw with Guatemala. Canada therefore moved from one point in its first two matches to a first victory and first clean sheet at the event.

The six goals came from six different players, the strongest supported feature of the result. The timeline does not explain how the chances were created or provide possession statistics, so broader claims about control would still go beyond the official evidence.

Development format rewards quick learning

Canada’s five qualification-stage matches were compressed into three days. In an eight-a-side format with two 20-minute halves and unlimited substitutions, players had little time between opponents to absorb lessons and reset.

The Singapore result is the clearest supported sign of progress within that sequence: Canada scored once against each of its first two opponents, then scored six without conceding in the third match. The performance-tier format also means goal difference may shape the next assignment, though no exact consequence had been officially published.

Samoa and Honduras were next on 26 October. Canada entered that final double-match day with a loss, a draw and a win, and with its tournament-stage place guaranteed by the festival format.
